Throttle Cable

Has any body ever had a throttle cable break on them. Well the cable broke on my cherokee last week and I was wondering if any body has ever made a new one that doesnt have all of the pivot points like my 90 4.0. O and has any one ever made an accelerator cable that you can controle with your hand? I saw one on a jeep a long time ago and I was wondering how it was made. Any thing is helpful. Thanks

Just buy a choke cable, forget spending the $40+, spend the $8 from your local auto parts store. I have bought both kits, the bike gear shifter kit as well as the choke cable, i prefer the choke cable by far. Also, I mounted mine into my dash so its easy to use and no cables to get caught up on, like the bike shifter.

Now is there any way that I can disconnect the hand throttle when not in use or will it be hooked up all the time? Does any body have a write up?
