After Sean's allergic reaction before heading to the rocks, a few of us headed back to camp. After sitting in the sun for a few minutes, my boys and I decided to go play around by ourselves. I found my way to Kaner Flats trail and ran it by myself for a little bit until I caught up to another group. One spot allowed me the opportunity to grab a couple of quick pics while winching:

My friend from CPS wants a word with you down at the office.

I love that even he knows how to spot crap beer. Maybe he'll grow up with better taste.:puke:

Maybe you need to learn how to appreciate cheap, non-filling beer.:twak: There is nothing wrong with Ron-yay, it's french.

I had some time to kill on my way to the meet up with the PDX convoy. Quick photo op at the Bridge of the Gods.

The drive up was issue free, and seemed to go by really quick. We reached Whistlin Jacks around 12:30.

After setting up camp we ventured out to hit a quick trail. Karl led us to Kaner Flats (676).

Friday morning we headed out around 11:00 to pick up where we left off the night before. We had a few more people with us this time though. Jack going through the off camber section.

Got enough flex there Rod?

Outstanding views! The scenery alone made the drive worth it.

At one of the more difficult sections in my opinion. My skids definitely got a work out here. Here's Will making it look easy.

After merging with the other group we attemped the String Trail. Here's Jack and Karl clearing the way.

Several hours later on our way back to camp.

Again the scenery was amazing!

On Saturday morning we nailed down a game plan and headed out for the day.

Rush hour.

This seemed to be a pretty common occurrence.

We packed up early Sunday morning and hit the road around 10:00 trying to beat the heat. Going through Yakima Rod's temperature read 110 degrees. Needless to say it was miserably hot!

Awesome trip!

The third picture is "tripod flats" I was telling you about the tripod.
I couldn't remember the name of it. Is that the tripod in the picture?

Also, Hans my dad said to tell you thanks for the directions to camp. I guess he ran into you at Whistlin Jacks.

Yes and tell him anytime.

You are Karl, not Hans. :D

You helped them with directions at the Funny Rocks though. I guess they went down the 695 from Moon Rocks, and had some issues in the loose rocky sections. Trying to maneuver a 650 loaded with gear on a trail has to be hard.
