Got this in email today....
The reconstruction of the T-6 (Deep Creek) began
yesterday. The work is being performed by a local contractor who won the job bid. As you may know, the cement bridge spanning Deep Creek was damaged by last winter's floods and the road has been closed since.
This bridge is vital to our OHV trail system as it connects the Lake Arrowhead side of the forest to the Big Bear side. It is the busiest OHV route on the SBNF for motorcycles, ATV's and 4x4's.
Look for a reopening in late November.
