CRISIS FLEXPLATE FROM 96 was put into my 88

So I did an engine swap i kept the flex plate from the 96 and put it on my renix model Jeep now I think the cps isn't able to function properly. Should It be an issue I notice the flex plates don't have the same model number on catalog and the cps doesn't look the same. Will I have to change flexplates or could I just adapt the newer style cps?

You have to use the Renix era flex plate with the Renix ECU. The pattern of holes in the disk is different. Changing the CPS type will not work.
