At least that's my opinion... and you don't have to take pics just for me.

Oh, and thanks for the link to the XJ LED package lights for the interior. I may just have to do this little upgrade now.
I do not mind taking pictures of the thing at all, I'll try to get some asap.

Me too. It's an arm and half a leg, but I don't plan on getting rid of this XJ ever so it's getting built the way I want it.

Re: hjeepxj's build thread

Two nights ago we drove 1 1/2 hours in blizzard single digit conditions at no more than 30-40 MPH (very poor conditions) and there was NO freezing up on the High Beam Offroad headlights. Last night we drove 1 hour at 30-70 MPH in single digit conditions with only existing precipitation, when we got home there was only a slight "icy" film over the headlights, totally normal.

The pics suck, they are the high beams.

Re: hjeepxj's build thread

Couple quick updates - got the rear JCR bumper installed and the A-pillar lights installed.

I hit a snag on the rear bumper tire carrier as the spindle is stuck all the way to the bottom (thus not letting me put the bolt that holds the spindle in in). I'll just remove the rear bumper, turn it upside down, lube the !^$% out of it and hit it out with a wide chisel...

January 28th we're doing a CO tech day and we'll be doing the following to my axles:

Dana 30:

Remove the stock bracketry, install Stinkyfab track bar brackets, sway bar brackets, WJ knuckle spacers. Install Hooligan LCA mounts, artec truss, artec inner C gussets and UCA mount.

Dana 44:

Remove spring pads and shock mounts. Install TNT ubolt eliminator and shock mounts. Install Iron Rock truss.

I AM PUMPED. After that they'll get powder coated then the 4.88's and the ARB's installed and assembled!! Goal for complete assembly of axles is end of March.

Re: hjeepxj's build thread

UPDATE!

Got the 44 fab work 100% done, it's painted with Top Secret Coatings satin black paint - this paint is badas$. The axle is currently getting its ring and pinion and ARB installed. I need to have some machine work done to the brake kit and I should be able to assemble mid May.

Memorial day weekend is when the build will really get going - I have a spreadsheet of everything that needs to be done and it's a lot

Pictures are up loading weird so you have to click on them

Re: hjeepxj's build thread

One of my trips to Hooligan, I asked how long it takes for him to weld these on:
Rear-4 hours
Mid-4 hours
Front-6 hours

He charges $100/hr for welding.
