HELP....Tranny won't shift

Ok the check engine light came on today...:huh:? So then, driving down the road I noticed that it wouldn't shift out of third into forth and the O/D lock out wasn't working either. Does anybody know if there is a blown fuse or whats going on. TIA

well it shifted into o/d, but the check engine light is still on. anybody got an ideas???

Since the light is on you need to have a scanner hooked up and see what code triggered the light. With that information you can decide what next

A friend of mine experienced the same problem: in his case, it was caused by a defect throttle sensor.
