Are the RE1130-Gen3 Discos Noisy?

Hey All,

I am in the process of building sort of an OEM+ or superstock XJ, and I am installing an OME lift at the moment. The kit came with RE1130-Gen3 Discos, but I am worried that if I install them, they will be super squeaky. My old XJ had some home made disco's which were great, but the noise drove me nuts after a few years. Will these guys do the same thing?

are these the ones that use a small heim at the sway bar? if so, a little bit of white lithium grease once in a while should do the trick.

the gen2 have heims.

the gen3 look like a direct knockoff of the JKS discos.

Which don't squeak, if they are lubed regularly.

Gen II were noisey. Gen III are good just keep them lubed though like any other part.
