That's interesting that you say the head bolts are torque to yield. I've never done them that way on a Jeep 4.0 before and have never had issues. Mines got over 100k on it since I did it and no issues. GM supposedly went torque turn on the later 5.7 but I never do that and go by the old spec when they never had head gasket issues.
