tire rubbing snorkel

anyone have problems with rubbing the air tube from the snorkel to the air box? I cut out my fender slightly, but turning right slightly, causes the tire to rub on the tube of my safari snorkel at the bend going up to the air box inlet fitting.. Is there any modification i can do to the snorkel system to keep the tire rubbing on the tube? Has anyone lengthened the tube to bend it farther away? or what

Well if you are taking about the soft flexy hose, I would suggest you sleve the tube with some ABS/PVC pipe and bolt it to the Jeep... that way it cant hurt the tube.
