Hey everyone I'm new to here but I am having trouble with my 95 xj it has a code 25 and it doesn't control the pintle it just seems to stay where every you put it at. Any help is appreciated

Have you tried cleaning the throttle body and the end of the IAC? Otherwise, I'd think it was a bad IAC. I think (but not positive) that it should retract when you first turn the key on. Also inspect the wiring to it real well.

"25**: Automatic Idle Speed (AIS) motor driver circuit shorted."
Either shorted wires, or connector or the IAC motor is shorted.

Ok I have tried 3 different iac and they all do the same thing I'll check the wiring next thanks.

The IAC is driven by the ECU. Also, NEVER run the IAC without it being inserted in the TB.
