Ok so I just pulled my driveshaft out of my transmission 2wd 00 cherokee. Now will I need to pry the old seal out? I'm having a hard time getting it out but I guess it shouldn't just slide right out should it? I'm prying on the metal piece that has a thin layer of green surronding it and I felt rubber behind it. I'll take a picture in a few minutes the cameras charging.

Brad

Thanks

Ok,

Heres the view that I'm seeing.

I'm trying to pull on the metal area, you can see the bit of green surrounding it. Does that look to be right? Anything I should know?

Thanks

if you can find a thin enough screw driver you can drive it between the seal and the metal... where the green area is. the green part is paint from the edge of the seal. just pry the old one in from that area, its ok to bend it up getting it out.. that is usually the only way.

I bent the crap out of it and got it out.

WOO HOO my heep is now leak free.

We'll see how long it lasts.
