ARB wiring tie in

I'm about to wire my arb switches and the instructions are asking to find a power and illumination wire to tie into, easy enough.

The installation instructions also call for the circuit to be on a 15amp fuse.
So my question is can I tie into something higher like a 25amp safely? I'm thinking if using the fog light or cigarette lighter wiring for splicing in, I'm rather lacking in electronics knowledge so I appreciate any help/wisdom.

Not safely!

You could tie into the 25 amp line if it's the easy, convenient wire to use -- just use an extra 15 amp inline fuse before the switches to protect the ARB

i ended up tying into the radio power+ illumination wires. It wasnt too bad other than previous quick crimps for an old stereo. the switches mounted to the auto shift bezel, which barley fits now, but does sit flush.
