Sway bar questions

I rememeber having a thread to start discussion on a universal sway bar. I am like most jeepers and I'm broke...:rattle:

With that being said I would like to build my own swaybar for my jeep and attempt to keep it on the cheaper side(compared to a kit).

I have been looking at stuff like this.VVV

I'm going to try and call and talk to them but does anybody have any input on rates, size, solid, hollow?

I've seen people use a torsion bar out of a mini truck for a sway bar as well. Not sure what they did for the arms, but you could probably get the keys with the torsion, and weld/bolt some arms to them.

Good thinkin. Maybe I will check the yards. Thanks

I know you wanted to stay on the cheap, but i really like the way eric built this sway bar setup.
