Hello :NAXJA:

so after buying a 1996 jeep xj that was too far gone with rust i spent my time trying to find a new jeep. and after 5 months of saving and searching i found this gem.

thanks John

Ya shes has some rust here and there but the only bad part was the axles, they were so rusty that one of the shock mount broke off. but other than that shes pretty rust free for a New England jeep.
also i have some parts that i brought for the black jeep that will be going on this one
RE 4.5' lifted coil springs
RE 3.5' lifted leaf springs
RE 1' lifted shackles
and the RE HD track bar and mount

next on the list
TNT off road long arm kit and frame stiffeners
fox 2.0 shocks
new drive shaft with sye
and a set of 33 MTR or Mk2

they made them with the 5-speed but you had to special order it thats why there hard to come by also i haven't really been able to drive it because it need a new clutch and if i drive it for an extended period of time it will stop going into gear. but other than that i love it is shifts really smooth even with bad clutch and rides 100x better then my 96 xj

Hello :NAXJA: sorry for not posting havent really had any time to work on the jeep because of work and parts being on backorder but this is whats been done so far.

so about a month ago my brother help me install the new clutch

the girl that owned the jeep before me was a avid clutch rider

thanks! after i get my tax refund back will be ordering up a set of 33 goodyear mtr, also getting the rims i bought sandblasted and a set of napier fender Flares later this week

glad you were able to make those rims work, wish I had kept my newer ones for you instead of those rusty little shits but it turned out awesome regardless. I loved the look of the mtrs/street locks. Still officially a trash jeep in the making with those though :D

thanks! those rims were a pain in the ass but it all worked out in the end for 100$ and 15$ worth of paint and a day of work you cant beat it.
