2000 Aw4 transmission gray plug smashed. Help finding replacement

I was moving the transmission getting ready to put it under the xj and set it down on the gray 8 pin plug that uses 7 wires. It connects the transmission to the main wiring harness by the firewall. Does any body know where I can buy a replacement plug? If so part numbers would help too.

Sounds like the main wiring plug. I don't know of a source other than robbing from another xj.

The harness can be removed pretty easily, if you want to just replace the whole thing. You have to remove the pan and disconnect the solenoids, then pull it out from the outside.

I haven't found any replacement harness for sale.

The only place you will find one is a pull a part or junk yard I believe.

Ran to the scrap guys place and he had one in the crusher pile. Glad I was able to get one.
