If I blip the throttle while I'm coasting around 35 mph, I'll hear a clunk or thud from my driveline. Is this normal? What do you guys think it could be?

mine has done that since new, i have a manual and generally I'll have it in to high a gear so something clunks...
does this happen at any speed/gearing?
I'm going on 100K and the only thing i have replaced is the clutch... so i would assume that its "normal." Although i would also like to know what it is.

This sound is commonly caused by a worn Ujoint. I've even seen it with loose lug nuts, don't ask:laugh3:
Other causes can be busted motor mounts or tranny mounts. A loose shock can also sound similar.

Just had my tranny rebuilt 4k ago. They said its either a torq-converter either not locking or unlocking correctly(I forget which), then again they are retarded. (The tranny shop is they)
