Oil leak....

Hey guys, I've been fixing oil leaks on my 95 xj. The back of the pan, trans plate area is soaked. I replaced the oil pan gasket and rear main seal. I cleaned the hell out of everything for a clean install. I took it out on the road, and when I got back, I'm noticing oil leaking from behind the trans plate. Rear main is dry, and so is the oil pan. I know they're common leak points along with the oil filter adapter which is dry and the valve cover which is dry also. Any ideas?

Little amounts of residual leftover leaked oil somewheres within bell housing finally dropping out.., or constant measurable copious drippings?

What trans? Could be a transmission seal.

Alaskan, it's just residual I think. I checked again after another roadtest, and was way less. No drippings, just small wetness at the bottom of the bell housing. It's not coming from the outside of the trans plate, but from the inside. I'm wondering if old oil splashed on the inside of the trans plate since it's open a little bit by the crank.
