Cleaning up the engine compartment

Question for the day, how can I clean up the fuse box on the passenger side of a pre-91 xj. It is just a mess of wires and I hate it. Can I replace it with a post 91 box, or are there any other options? Thanks in advance.

I wrapped mine in wire loom to hide the spaghetti look that was there.
