I found this connector unplugged today. Does anyone know what it plugs into? Jeep runs. It’s a 1988 Wagoneer 4.0 4x4. It is a three wire connector but has only two wires: pink with white stripe and white with black stripe. The wires lead into the main engine harness that goes to the big C101 connector.
I’ve had this Jeep for about a year and just noticed it today while contemplating whether I should do cruiser’s C101 elimination mod. As you might guess, this Jeep has inconsistent idle, poor mpg and wierd electrical issues like the radio just loses power sometimes and the power locks and windows seem weak.
I know I got ground problems, but I’m pretty sure this connector should be plugged into something. Thanks for your help!
