I changed my front brake pads and rotors today, and noticed the passenger side pads wore out more then the drivers side by a good amount. I also think I here a sound coming from that side.

Could something be worn out. 186,000 miles and everything is still stock on the front brakes except the pads and rotors been changed 3 or 4 times.

2 things I can think of:

- Your passenger caliper is frozen, which can force a lot of extra rubbing. 186k, I'd replace the calipers and give it an extensive bleed to flush out the lines.

- Check rails on your passenger steering knuckle. I'm talking about the surface that the pads ride on. The metal part of the pad can wear a groove in those rails and make the pads not glide properly in and out. It's a pretty common problem.
