Multiple misfire = reman pcm fail?

Solved hard starting problem about a month ago with a Cardone reman PCM. 96 xj 4.0 has run great since. Last night, out of nowhere, it started running rough and throwing random misfire codes on all 6 cylinders. I’ve read the threads, I know there’s a million things that could be causing this, but since I so recently replaced the PCM i’m really tempted to look there first. Is it common for these things to work fine out of the box and fail a month later? Already reset, didn’t help.

Anything is possible, but not real likely since your throwing so many codes. First check your battery voltage then check all the common sources of constant power to the injectors and the coil.
