8.25 diff skid, anyone ever run one?

The half cover gets hung up just as much as anything else, but the lip on the bottom of the 8.25 will catch on things and stop you dead in your tracks.

Fifthteen minutes with a grinder and a flap disc will round and smooth the bottom the axle's lip.

Lightly shaved 8.25, with a Riddler cover.

Yep, Same thing I did on my 99. Although I feel like I was able to trim higher with my Riddler Cover

If I could figure out how to post a pic...I’d share some details on a pinion skid that I built for the 8.25. Covers the entire diff up to the u-joint, the lip on he bottom of the case drove me nuts getting hung up so now I slide over everything with ease.

I'd like to see that. Can you p.m. a pic to me? If you do, I'd be glad to post it for you in this thread.
