So I am a seasoned mechanic.
I always mess this up on my jeep tho.
How in the heck do you empty out all the coolant. without making a gigantic mess.

The side radiator drain leaks onto 5 components when opened. even a bit.

disconnecting any hoses ends up coating the whole engine bay and the ground underneath.

I just know My coolant still has some oil in it. since the last rebuild. I have changed it 2x now. and I want to be sure 99% of it is gone. so doing the 3rd change now.

Any tips or insight for me ?

And I am aware most of you are going to say. Its going to make a mess.

Just living in an apartment complex means to change it. I either gotta go to the local pay and spray and wait til she cools down. Bring coolant and water.
and empty there.
or build a wall of metal pans and rags to clean up residual oil.

What does everyone else do ?
