I am in the middle of building a rear bumper and want to reinforce the rear of the frame at the same time. I had an idea in mind, and just saw the HDOffRoadEngineering ones came out.
What I was thinking about is similar to the HD ones, but wrapped around the bottom of the rail, and extending back around the spring pocket.
What I am wondering is which way will be stronger . . .
. . . use the HD stiffeners, and weld a plate to the bottom and a piece around the spring pocket
or
. . . make my own stiffener that is all one piece
