98 XJ Coil Driver

Terminal A7

make sure the fuses are all intact for the pcm power. pin a2 should have 12v when in run or start

a22 has 12v constantly

a31 and 32 are ground.

check those first.

Firstly, thank you for your help!

These check out, still no spark....I've thrown all the parts at it I know to and even some I don't

Are you willing to guide me a little further to remedy the issue?

ALL help is MUCH appreciated

with a digital meter set to ac it may show something on it. if you able to just grab a cheap analog meter that would be the best way to check

I'd back-probe the signal wire on the cam sensor (it's inside the distributor, that's what the distributor plug is for.) and check that next. I don't know about the '97 and later XJ's, but my CEL is literally a peanut-style light bulb with a cover over it. Lack of CEL could be something as simple as a burned-out bulb.
