Replacing fan clutch...fan hits AC pulley

Hi, in the middle of replacing my fan clutch on my 96 4.0 and it's hitting the AC pulley. It's from Napa. Any ideas? Thanks! I've taken the shroud out to just make sure I'm getting it on square and it feels like it's square. The fan isn't backwards either. I marked the back side of it.

Did they goof up and give you a fan clutch for a different Jeep ?

Do you still have the old one? Measure the height.

I took the shroud back out and tried putting it on again and fully tightening it and it fits fine. Shaft is bigger in diameter than the stock one but that's the only big difference. Took it back apart and put the shroud back in. Thankfully a false alarm! I thought holding it on there was suffice but I guess it's hard to make it square without really snugging the bolts up.
