I called Clayton and told them about the problems I had. They want me to send them the pictures and a semi-write up on what the problem was and how I corrected it. They guy I talked to had no idea that an XJ ever came with a V-6. They are also going to add to their site and instructions that their kit will not bolt into a 2.8L V6 XJ.

Not really. I kept telling the guy "All you have to do is cut the arms 4" shorter." But he was not keen to that idea.

Ok, the 8.8 is in. Bolted right into place. Nothing is hooked up though but now I am able to measure for my rear DS.
