I have slowly been working and building my new to me XJ. Figured it was time to let the cat out of the bag. I have given myself a budget of $1000 to buy a rig, build it, and be on the trails. Can it be done? We shall see!

Some stats,
94, 2 door, 2.5, AX5, 231, 8 1/4, 4:10s, BB, 15x7 chrome blingers. All for the lofty sum of- $300 (Had a cracked head)
nused 2.5- $100
33/12.50/15 Goodyear MTRs- $260
transfer skid-$40
tow hooks and brackets-$60
triple gauge set from Summit- $30
paint, tape and sand paper- $20

So far the XJ runs and drives very well. The 33s put a hurtin on the 2.5 in high range but it does OK in low. It sould be fairly easy to meet my budget. I need to pick up a few other nick nack parts to complete the build,

bump stops
shocks
rear tow point
tank skid
maybe a front bumper (if funds allow)

Enough jibber jabber.

Here is the Cherokee County Rock Squad XJ.

I think the 33's fit well on the BB

You've done a good job getting good parts for cheap. You must be one of those "in the right place at the right time" guys.

Keep us updated.

Thanks, the rig has been sold and is currently being enjoyed by Derrick94XJ.
