well my buddy replaced his cps last night and its still throwing the code and stalling when he turns the jeep. he reset the comp with a scanner and its still throwing the cps code. he didnt disconnect the battery when he did the install- i told him that could and should be the problem. but he believes that since he cleared it with the scanner its fine.. what do you think?

1391 is related to either the crankshaft position sensor OR the camshaft position sensor CIRCUIT.

With the entire "circuit" comes associated wiring and connectors. Often overlooked and the cause of many problems.

"when turning..." on yours too?

Check for bare/melted wires.
