SYE Question

So I don't quite understand why you NEED a skip yoke eliminator. I have a custom long arm lift on my xj and supposedly I need a SYE to not wobble off the road. I've had a truck with a 10" lift in the thing and never needed one? Not a single vibration either, i just tipped the rear pinion up. Please tune me in why I can't just tip it up in my xj rather than get a SYE

Basically if you flex out and don't have one you run the risk of the drive shaft failing out on the trial, then getting damaged and barfing fluid. Depending on what Tcase you ran on your truck is what makes the difference. Some have fixed yokes others don't. When I had my k5 it had a 12" lift but all I needed was shims and a double cardan shaft.
