Metal is the "heavy duty" style because it won't deform under load like plastic, but almost all of them are plastic now

I am toying with the idea of going in there and replacing everything. Copper/nickel brake lines, new hoses, new calipers, hub assemblies, and U joints. Wonder if I should consider the metal piston ones.
