To-Do List

Guess I'll play..

Get spare tire
Swap over tire carrier
Finish rear shocks through the floor
Order shocks for the rear
Make some covers for where the uca and traction bar come through the floor
paint and put on D44 cover
CB radio
paint and install battery box
inspect, register, insure it

plan 1:
- build new frame - hack patched existing "frame"
- build new axles - nope
- freshen up spare motor (or 5.2?), trans, transfer case, install sye, install on new frame - have 5.2, have ECU, have clutch stuff, have slave cyl, have nv3500, have sye, have np231 (thanks Rich!), need to get crackin' on the frame and assemble new drivetrain :D
- build 3 link and attach axles to frame in various ways - nope
- put cab and new bed on new frame, install new floors - nope
- install 97+ interior - nope, probably not happening for now
- drive - nope

plan 2:
- wait until a week before (alright fine, the day before) - so far so good
- panic - nope
- booger weld patches across the holes and cracks in my frame - done!
- throw every jeep part I own in the back - nope
- throw every tool I own in the back - nope
- do not remove trash from rocktoberfest, fallcrawl, or any other run from the back, under any circumstances - all removed, bed is almost empty
- throw all the beer and hard alcohol I can find in the back - nope
- throw hammock in the back - nope
- buy food on the way out of town at 2am Saturday - nope
- drive - nope

I am sure what actually happens will fall somewhere between these two plans. - yup
