Team NAXJA/Petty Cash Racing stock class KOH XJ build

We have raced two King of the Hammers races as Team NAXJA in my XJ based rock buggy. We finished both races with one top 10, coming in 7th. For the last two years many of us from our Team NAXJA group have worked with GenRight or Dustin Webster and the Red Bull TJ. During that time Matt Adair has put together the Petty Cash Racing team racing a 2wd XJ in the 24 Hours of Lemons series, and we've had quite a bit of success, the car has one class win and two class 2nd places, plus a couple of top 5 overall finishes.

When the new Ultra4 (KOH) stock class was announced for next season, and since we've been racing XJ's, it was a natural for us to think about racing an XJ in this class. So, we've partnered Team NAXJA with Petty Cash Racing and entered. The car is currently being built at my shop in Bakersfield, G&G Off Road. Matt (IXNAXJ) is working on sponsorships, Cal has been buying parts, and Russ has provided the car and is freshening up a motor for it. James, Kenyon, and others have been in the shop regularly working on the build.

Here's Cal getting a feel for the new suspension

Unfinished engine cage, and front bumper. We decided we wanted to tie everything together, so screw the bolts, the bumper is welded on.
