In the middle of cooling system flush/replace t-stat. Have it mostly buttoned up ready to go, was going to burp the system, but the XJ wont start now. It ran fun until I went to start it now. Please help.

Fuel, spark, air, compression.

Check for fuel at the rail, use the Schrader valve.

Check for spark at the plugs.

Did you get things wet, like the distributor?

Nothing is wet.

yes

The only thing I could think of, which I doubt is.. where the drain on the rad is there was a single wire with a connector that was hanging, but from the looks of it its been there for a while. Unless this is the problem?

I wouldn't think so.

Pull a couple plugs and see if they are wet.

Is your spark strong--blue, or weak--yellow?

plugs are fine, spark is blue.

Well, it decided to start.. damn Heeps (=

its the connector at the t-stat. if it ever does it again just disconnect and reconnect it.
