Ok I'm swapping a rebuilt, bored out, 89 Renix into my 87 Renix waggy. Is the wiring identical to where I can just unplug everything then just plug the other engine in or do I need to swap harnesses?

I think it should just plug right in.....

87 Renix 2dr. here.....

OK sick. gettin a steal on the engine. $160 for a rebuilt, bored out 89 renix with a header and only 30,000 miles

Just swap the plant - you're good.

The only real change in RENIX came around 1988/1989 - some of the wiring changed colour. Just about all of the sensors and electronics are elsewise the same, so no worries.
