Northwest Fest photos

Although this was my first attendance of the Northwest Fest, I think the common consensus was that it may go down in history as one of the most eventful. Breakage prone Jeeps (breaks like many had not seen before) and a great spirit from all who were in attendance despite the issues that plagued just about every trail run.
I arrived on Friday evening to Alex (Ba Riedo) plugging his blown tire (lets be honest, you know Alex wasn’t doing the work) and Matt (IXNAYXJ) replacing his front axle shaft (well, lets be honest, you know Matt wasn’t doing the work). I pondered what may be in store for my own ride at this point but chose to forego the stress and partake in the festivities. Below are only some of the photos that I took. The trail offered little time to get good action shots, the shots came out blurry, or the photos were just damn right inappropriate. And that’s the excuse I’m going with.

Friday evening.

I'll add to the collection. Took these with my Canon (the best) XTi with a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8...I didn't take as many photos as I would have liked to, due to my lack of available memory...but here's some I liked best.

The good example for all...why we dont use blocks. These were 2" aluminum blocks.

So it wasn't on purpose, but Josh and I got ditched yesterday morning. We rolled out solo and snapped a couple.

I learned this weekend that the versatility of the XJ truly knows no bounds, both in functionality and good taste.

I also learned that despite smelling like a donkey's ass dipped in pig urine, Naches mud is still a fine place for mosquitos to fornicate, and they really like the taste of my beer-laden blood.

Doug is itching from skeeter bites, you're itching from all the unprotected sex with the toyota guys.:nono: :twak:

I further learned that if I have to turn a wrench on Alex's rig one more time, he's carrying said wrench home in his anal cavity.
