hello, i have excessive brake dust on the drivers front wheel. it looks like dust from a metallic pad. i bought the jeep a few months back with a bent rear axle shaft and changed out the rear brakes with ceramic and of course got a new shaft and seals. could it be that the previous owner had changed out only one wheel with metallics.the rig is not pulling or shaking or smelling like burnt pad and the rotors pads and pistons all seem to be good. i am just seeing if ai am missing something here.... thanks 94 XJ 4.0 3" lift with 31 DC's

Make sure that the caliper slides freely on its mounting bolts.

i bought a chevrolet c-1500 not to long ago. i went to inspect the front brakes and each side had different pads in it? you could be right and this be your problem?
