Lift question

Hello, I am planning on running a 5.5 RE lift with 33's on my 87 xj. do i need a SYE and what other parts should i get? Thanks a lot.

sye couldnt hurt and may be required. but you might get away with shims/tcase drop for a while. some have had success without it, some have needed it. youll need shocks (last i heard re didnt include those), pb blaster, jackstands, alignment, etc etc etc. also, before ya get flamed, try to search using the tool. this has been covered alot and there will be lots more info there

ya also, u will want to get a CV driveshaft 2 with that much lift:)!

sye, ds, prob will wanna get a steering box brace, and maybe even a new steering setup
