Ok boys time to chime in.....

We just had a baby girl and the jeep sat for about a month and a half. I fired her up yesterday and there was a clunk coming from the drivers front only when turning left and right. I have not been able to locate where it is coming from. I got underneath and lubed everything up again and made sure everything was tight but it was still there. I can barely feel it in the steering wheel.

here is what i am running:

3" COILS
JKS QUICK DISCOS
ADJ LCAS
RR 1 TON STEERING KIT
RC SHOCKS (THEY ARE STIFF AS ALL HELL, DO NOT RECOMEND)
RC STEERING DAMPENER
265/75/16's

any ideas where to look?

ps: i still need help to finish up my bumper. any westsiders with a welder and a couple hours of time on their hands to spare?

steering tight or any slop?

It might be a coil. It gets snagged on the isolator then releases and sounds like a cluck. That happened to my jeep.

U-joint maybe? Maybe your swaybar end link is rubbing on the coil.

Steering box / cracked "frame" maybe? Put one wheel against a curb and have somebody move the wheel back and forth while you look for slop.

Check the steering box triangle brace (stock pos) my brother had that and when we found out it was crack, we installed a crock and poof it was gone :)

I'd also check the track bar bracket at the Uni rail.. Since you say it clunks when turning the wheel..
