i have 98 xj sport 4.0 ax-15 np231
it has air bags the impact sensors for them aren't even there and haven't been sense i've owned the jeep and i don't have a center counsel and i want to know if i remove the computer that controls the air bags if i will have the air bag light on, on my gauge cluster or if i remove the fuses will it turn that light off
i'm not removeing the airbags themsleves
just the computer for them
i doubt the computer even works anymore it has been submerged for extended periods if time on more then one occasion
please don't any one flame on me about how i should keep my airbags thats not why i'm asking this to get your opinion on keeping them just to know if that stupid little light is gonna be on if i do it i'm not trying to sound like an ass i just want an awnser
