Paint code...where?

Hello XJers.

A friend of mine is about paint his ´92 Cherokee and asked me about the paint code. Could you tell me haw can I know it? Any decal in the Jeep?

His Cherokee is painted in the typical metallic green.

I believe there should be a tag on the firewall on the driver's side. On the later models, there's a tag on the driver's door, but I don't know about the earlier models. You could probably search for "paint codes" on here and confirm that.

This site might help- although their color representations aren't very good, I think the codes/color names are correct. Also shows where to find the information on your vehicle.
