Wiper Issue...

99 XJ When I go to turn on the wipers they don't move. The sprayer does spray so it's not the circuit. But if i get out and lift them they start. It seems that they are going down too far is there an adjustment that needs done??

If you can push them and they run, you have a bad spot on the armature. May as well bite the bullet and replace it. It'll get worse quickly and you'll get in trouble trying to drive in rain without wipers.
