RE gen2 disconnects mounting

I read somewhere that the pins(in the original mounting spot, where they would be "connected"), should be attached with the drivers side pointing under the car... while the passenger side should be pointing towards the tire.
It was said to help keep them straight up and down, and would keep from being at an angle and causing any stress/binding.

I currently have them pointing towards each other, and noticed the passenger side is at an angle. RE's instructions don't really provide much help towards installation.

Can't seem to find the place where I saw this originally...

i put both of mine facing in and dont have and problems. but yeah the instructions provided werent the best.

That Aluminum isnt the strongest either... i ended up breaking one of mine... they are deff handy though
