Don't lift blocks increase the amount of axle wrap?

Are they flat on both sides or are they tapered?

Do they have the notch on the bottom so it fits right onto the axle perches and a hole on the top so the leaf spring centering bolt has somewhere to sit? If so, I'll take 'em.

Ok these blocks don't have a notch on the bottom they have a small tit for lack of a better word that fits in the spring perch they do have a hole on top for the centering bolt. They are made from cast iron I think.
