Passing Inspection Question

Painted my grill and headlight housings black and found some bedliner and sprayed em with that and then i saw a guy who spray painted or "Tinted" his sidemarker lights and was wondering if they would pass inspection like that? i have to get it inspected this month.

Not in PA if you go very dark. If it is more of a gray clear coat you could get away with it.

Probably not...NC is real anal about state inspections...trust me i've seen vehicles get failed for stupid crap.
