Reverse Lights AW4

99 XJ sport with an AW-4. Having problems with the back up lights. THey don't recieve power when the tranny is in Reverse or ever for that matter. Thinking the switch but can't seem to find it. Also the thing can be put in drive without pressing the brake now and the key will come out without putting it in park now. Something is amiss in the shift actuater on the left side of the tranny I think but wanted to hear others experience befor ripping into it.

Forget it, found the NSS in a search. Wasn't much on reverse lights but one mentioned the NSS and that brought results. Off to clean the NSS. Thanks.
