I understand why he did it. But, why do it if you cant do it right?

might be funny looking, but I bet his suspension/tire geomtry are close if not dead on thru the suspension travel, meaning he does have alot of camber change.

is that your truck? lol

You can still maintain proper camber without ghetto fabbing like that.

no not my truck, but it looks like he is keeping equal length arms. If he spent as much time engineering it as he did fabbing it, it would look much much better.

umm. of nearly every Baja race I have ever been too, I have never seen anyone maintain equal arm lengths using this method. This is simply the incorrect way of doing it.

1. The tires would rub the knuckle bracket
2. Talk about a perfect wedging point for rocks and tree branches.
3. The stress on the knuckle during full compression would be too great.

But think of how easy it is to grease that upper joint Josh.

Am I looking at this right? I don't see any FWD.

Real prerunners don't have 4x4. IN fact I get some laughs when I see some poser prerunner truck with a front diff.

I am still trying to figure out where the upper pivot point is for the steering. I see where the suspension pivots, but no steering pivot, unless that is lower in the design. We need a better photographer and he needs a better engineer.

lol. true...convenience != good design?
