Club name

Ok, so i just started a offroad club at Virginia Tech. Yes, there is anothe one called sinking creek offroad club, or somethin like that. So i apply as Viginia Tech Offroad...They dont like that. So Tech offroad, didn't like that. Right now im sitting as Offroad Club at Virginia Tech. They say u cant use Virginia Tech, Tech, Hokie(masscot) or anything relating to Virginia Tech. Anybody got a catchy title...The only name i can think of is Blacksburg Offroad...im spent...NO ideas.

I don't understand why you would need their permission to name your club whatever you like. If you are trying to be sanctioned by the school, then just find out what path you need to take in order to be officially recognized by the school and have an associated name. If you aren't, then just call yourselves whatever you want and ignore them.

Personally, I wouldn't go with the sanctioning route, since college and such will go by quickly. If they officially recognize your club as the official school 4x4 club, then you will likely be booted from it as soon as you are finished school...
