New Digs!!

So as some of you may remember, apartment life was getting pretty hectic, as per my "Oh how I loathe thee Carl" thread. What with my new job needing more parking and also the undying need to GTFO of Hemet, the lady and I started looking at new places. After much searching, it came down to the wire, as our lease is up next month. We finally found a place in Beaumont that we absolutely love. Anyway, here's some pictures before we move in.


It's a 3 bed 2 full bath on a cul-de-sac with dining room, living room and formal living room. Fireplace, etc. Should be a fun house to hold us over until we buy some property when she's done with school! So who's coming to the BBQ? :greensmok

Hey neighbor, I live in Beaumont as well, welcome. If your driving around beaumont and happen to turn onto Pearl St. and see a Truggy sitting in a drive way thats me. The XJ is tore apart right now but it is on its way. Once again welcome, and the Beer is always COLD.

Haha thanks everybody for the offers to help and come drink my beer! We didn't buy it though, it's a rental, but a long term rental hopefully until she finishes school. Either way it'll be the Jeep's new home for quite sometime. I'll let you all know when the bbq is and more importantly when we're moving :D

Thank god, I had to GTFO hemet, it's full of tweakers and old blue haired people. While I liked my apartment, I hated the city. Never again will I move out there. And you're a punk, you better come visit fool. It's a way quicker drive on the freeways.

So your moving to Beaumont. Well that puts you about 25 minutes down the 10 freeway from me. I'm still serious about putting your new head on for free if its the Hesco one. I'll have to get you out to my neck of the woods to do some night wheeling. I'm sure Scott will chime in too. There are some good trails alot like truckhaven.

My mom lives in Hemet, and you're right, she wants to GTFO hemet too, but she bought and the market sucks right now. She'll probably be there for a while and will be blue haired in 15 anyway.

Where at in Hemet? Certain area's are better than others, but it's still a nightmare to get anywhere in this town. That and a drive down florida seems like a drive down compton at times.

As for the rent thing, believe me I know, if we were in a position to buy now would be the time. However lending rules are stricter than ever and there's just something about a guy who works as a private contractor and unverifiable income, and a girl who just quit her job and got $125,000 in student loans that screams no! Hahahaha, so once she's out of school we plan on buying property and putting a nice modular or something similar on it. I NEED to have property out in the open.

Her house and hood is actually really nice. It's in the very NE end. It's a newer development. North east of Florida/Ramona Expressway. She has a nice view out onto the Saboba Rez as her backyard. The hills just go for miles. She just doesn't like the area when she leaves the house is all. She always tells me about the ladies in their slippers, bathrobes, and dragging the oxygen tanks at the stater brothers. As far as getting there I stay away from Florida. I come up from the South on domenigoni, to state, and stetson.

Yeah, it's all about your score, the W-2s and what kind of credit or positive balances you have. GL!

Here is some garage porn for you. I have MY priorities. Before we moved in. the wood benches and some of the shelving the prior owner built were demo'd (don't have pics of those, but the supports are there on the wall), epoxy went down, new wall and electrical, new appliances, new shelves. We just moved in last month. First home. Still getting set up.
