4LO - steering

hello all! i noticed that when i have my xj in 4lo its harder to steer and it doesnt turn all the way to the left-right! any ideas? thanks

It's supposed to be like that because there is constant power being sent to the front axle as well as the rear. Make sure you don't drive on the street in 4wd unless you have full-time 4wd.

As far as turning less I would check the steering, suspension, u-joints to see if anything is binding up. It might just be the way it is though.

thats normal, dont drive on dry or wet pavement in 4wd. it can put enough stress on the transfer case chain to break it
